A digital guidebook example you can tap through
This is a guest portal for a sample rental, Villa Aurelia, built with Guestate. It's what a guest sees after scanning the QR code on the fridge. Tap any tile to open it.

What's in this example
Villa Aurelia has all six tools. Here is what each one does for a guest, and what the host filled in.
- Wi-Fi. The network name and password, a button that copies the password, and a code a second phone or tablet can scan to join.
- House manual. How-tos for 7 things, from the induction hob to checking out. Each opens on a tap. The same entries are the worked examples in our house manual guide.
- Local picks. The host's own café, restaurant, tour and spa, filterable by category. The walking tour is the kind of link that can carry the host's affiliate code.
- Shop the stay. The mug, throw and lamp in the flat, each linking to the shop that sells it. With affiliate links, the host earns when a guest buys.
- Emergency. The local emergency number, the host and the co-host, and a note about the nearest hospital.
- Leave a review. Goes straight to the host's Google review page. No incentive, and no screen in between.
How guests get here
The host printed one QR card for the fridge, which opens this home screen, and sends the same link in their check-in message. Guests need no app and no account: the page opens in their phone's browser.
Each tool also has its own code. The Wi-Fi code joins the network directly, so it's worth printing on its own for the router or the entrance. Our guide to Airbnb QR codes explains which codes to print and where.
Make your own
Sign in, add your property, and fill in the tools you want. Our digital guidebook guide walks through what to write in each one.
The free Starter plan covers 1 property with every tool, 1 local recommendation and 1 shop item. This example's 4 local picks and 3 shop items would need the Host plan (€19 a month).
Questions hosts ask
Is this what my guests will see?
Yes. The screens inside the phone are Guestate's real guest pages, filled with sample content. Your portal uses your property name, your colour and your own text. On the free Starter plan, a small "Powered by Guestate" line also sits at the bottom of each page.
Can I change the colour and layout?
Yes. Each property has its own accent colour and a list or grid layout, and the dashboard shows a live preview as you change them.
Do I have to use every tool?
No. Add only the ones you want. Most hosts start with Wi-Fi and the house manual and add local recommendations later.
